Leopards Fall to Blue Streaks in Volley for the Cure Match – Volleyball

Lake 29-25-25-25, Louisville 31-15-20-16

My Fit Life Personal Trainer AdThe Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team fell to the visiting Lake Blue Streaks 31-29, 15-25, 20-25, 16-25 in their Volley for the Cure game Tuesday Evening at Louisville High School. With the loss, Louisville falls to 7-11 on the season.

Paige Cole and Lauren Siegfried led the Lady Leopards efforts on the evening. Paige Cole finished as Louisville’s top hitter with 10 kills and also had a match leading 14 digs on defense. Lauren Siegfried was the top server for LHS with 12 points and 5 aces and also had a match-high 3 blocks on defense. Amanda Clark also recorded 19 assists for the Leopards.

The Blue Streaks (14-5) were led on offense by Alyssa Zehner who registered a match leading 18 kills. Madison Funno was also the leading server for the match with 13 points and Hailey Peling led all players in assists with 42.

On defense, Lake was led by Morgan Mauller who had a team high 9 digs. Bauer and Lippe also had 3 blocks each for the Lady Streaks.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next host the Marlington Dukes on Thursday, October 4. JV will start at 5:00 PM and Varsity will follow at 6:00 PM.
