The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team fell to the visiting Lake Blue Streaks 12-1 Monday Evening at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the loss, Louisville drops to 2-4 on the season.
Hubbard Gets Louisville On the Board in 1st Half
Senior Brooke Hubbard scored the Lady Leopards lone goal in the first half. Louisville trailed 6-1 at the half and was outscored by Lake 6-0 in the second half.
Junior goalkeeper Sarah Bricker finished with 10 saves for the Leopards.
Baker and Labbe Score 4 Goals Each for Lake
Junior attack Jillian Baker and senior midfielder Emma Labbe both scored a game high 4 goals to lead the Lady Blue Streaks. Junior midfielder Avery Neidert also registered a hat trick for Lake and junior defender Tatum Hausser scored her first varsity goal of the season.
Junior midfielder Elle Windham finished with a game high 3 assists for Lake. Baker also tallied a pair of assists and freshman attack Evelyn Miller added an assist for the Blue Streaks.
Senior goalkeeper Nina Fierro led the Lake defense with 3 saves.
Leopards Vs. Blue Streaks Girls Lacrosse History
The Leopards won the first 7 matchups in the series from 2016-2019, but the Blue Streaks have won the last 6 meetings since. Louisville now leads the all-time series 7-6 overall, which includes a 4-2 record when playing at Louisville Leopards Stadium.
