Lingenhoel Group - Arden and Lisa Lingenhoel - Cutler Real Estate AdThe Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Basketball Team fell to the Division I #6 ranked Jackson Polar Bears 54-44 Wednesday Night at Louisville High School. With the loss, Louisville finishes the regular season with a 13-7 record.

Paige Cole hit 6 three-pointers and scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Lady Leopards. Sherilynn Mullett also scored 8 and Kayla Gibson tallied 6 for Louisville.

Cole hit 4 of her 6 three-pointers in the opening period as Louisville took a stunning 18-11 advantage after one. The second quarter proved to be different tale as the Leopards were held scoreless from the field as Jackson pulled ahead 26-22 by halftime.

The Polar Bears outscored Louisville 17-14 in the third, but the Leopards rallied back to take the lead in the fourth. In the end, JHS would outscored LHS 11-8 in the final quarter to earn the double digit victory.

My Fit Life Personal Trainer AdJackson (20-2) was led by Lauren Pallotta who made 3 three-pointers and scored a team-high 15 points all in the first three quarters of action. The well-balanced Polar Bears were also led by Emma Dretke, Leena Patibandla, and Ava Scroggs who scored 9 points each.

UP NEXT: The #6 Seed Lady Leopards will next host the #11 Seed Massillon Tigers in the DI Massillon Sectional Semifinals on Saturday, February 15 at 1:00 PM.
