2010 Girls Golf Season Year In Review
In the girls’ inaugural season they accomplished an impressive 7-7 overall record. The girls posted record low on the road with a 169. The Lady Leps were led by seniors Maggie Reiman with a 40.9 average and Alex Adams with a 46.3 average. Maggie had a school record and career low of 37 at Skyland Pines par 36. Maggie placed in the top 2 in every match included 10-time medalist! Maggie received 1st Team All-Stark County and 2nd Team All-Northeast Ohio. Alex Adams averaged a 3rd-4th place finish in 14 matches while posting a career low 40 at Edgewood Golf Course. Alex also received Honorable Mention for All-Stark County and All-Northeast Ohio. As a team the girls shot a school record 353 and placed 5th in the Sectionals. The 353 was a mere 3 strokes behind 4th place which went to districts. The 353 was accompanied by 4 career lows for 18-holes by Maggie Reiman (76), Alex Adams (85), Regina McVey (95) and Adrienne Metzger (97). Maggie Reiman made it to Districts as an individual. At districts Maggie missed the cut for State by 3 strokes with an 82.
