Lady Leopards Go 1-2 at GlenOak Quad – Volleyball
The Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team went 1-2 in a quad meet at GlenOak High School Saturday Morning. Louisville fell to host GlenOak, defeated Massillon, and also lost to Canfield. The Lady Leopards are now 2-5 on the season.
GlenOak 25-19-29, Louisville 11-25-27
In their first match of the morning, Louisville fell to the host GlenOak Golden Eagles Volleyball team in a hard fought three sets 11-25, 25-19, 27-29.
On offense, Cami Nau finished with a team-high 12 kills and Morgan Cole recorded 30 assists. Ashley Zifer was the Leopards leading server with 9 points.
On defense, Ellie Jackson finished with a team-leading 24 digs and Erin Hahn also registered 2 blocks.

Louisville 14-25-25, Massillon 25-19-19
The Lady Leopards rallied back in their second matchup against the Massillon Tigers Volleyball squad. Louisville won the match in three sets 14-25, 25-19, 25-19.
Cami Nau led the Leopards with a team-high 7 kills and a team leading 8 digs. Nau was also Louisville’s top server with 11 points and 5 aces.
Erin Hahn finished with a team-high 7 kills and Morgan Cole tallied 20 assists. Emily Fresenko, Hahn, and Katelyn Monnot also had 1 block apiece on defense.
JV: Louisville 25-25, Massillon 10-14
Canfield 25-27-25, Louisville 23-29-6
In their final match of the day, Louisville fell to the Canfield Cardinals Volleyball team 23-25, 29-27, 6-25.
Defensive leaders for the Lady Leopards included Emily Fresenko with 2 blocks and Ellie Jackson with 15 digs.
Emily Phillips finished as Louisville’s leading server with 7 points and 1 ace. Other offensive leaders included Morgan Cole with 20 assists and Erin Hahn with 9 kills.
JV: Canfield 25-25, Louisville 22-20
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next host the Alliance Aviators on Tuesday, September 5. JV will start at 5:00 PM and Varsity will follow around 6:00 PM.
