Sloane Sypolt Louisville Leopards Volleyball 2021 Vs. Marlington Dukes

Lingenhoel Group - Arden and Lisa Lingenhoel - Cutler Real Estate AdThe Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team competed at the GlenOak Quad Saturday at GlenOak High School. The Lady Leopards fell in all three matches against Massillon, GlenOak, and Tusky Valley and are now 0-5 on the season.

Massillon 25-21-25, Louisville 21-25-16

Jenny Can Cleaning AdLouisville dropped their opening match to the Massillon Tigers 21-25, 25-21, 16-25.

Junior setter AJ Burick recorded a team-high 22 assists, sophomore defensive specialists Madie ElFaye had a team high nine digs, and senior middle hitter Lexi Jobe led the team with seven kills.

Leading servers included junior outside hitter Brooke Haren and freshman outside hitter Addy Campbell who tallied 3 aces each.


GlenOak 25-25, Louisville 21-16

Louisville was swept by the host GlenOak Golden Eagles in two sets 21-25, 16-25 in their second match of the day.

Captains AJ Burick and Lexi Jobe led the Leopards in a hard fought effort. Burick finished with a team best 13 assists and two aces. Jobe added a team high seven kills.


Tusky Valley 25-25, Louisville 18-14

My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdLouisville was swept by Tusky Valley 18-25, 14-25 in their final matchup of the quad.

Senior defensive specialist/libero Kaitlyn Kardohely led the defense with a team high 12 digs. 

Junior setter AJ Burick also had 10 assists and junior opposite hitter Sloane Sypolt finished with seven kills to lead the Leopard offense. Junior outside hitter Brooke Haren also notched two aces.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next host the Stow-Munroe Falls. Bulldogs on Tuesday, August 30. Freshman will begin at 4:30, JV will follow around 5:30 PM, and Varsity will take the court around 7:00 PM at Louisville High School.
