Leopards Break Shutout in Final Minutes

Louisville hung with GlenOak throughout the first half, but was unable to put points on the board. The Golden Eagles would add 3 touchdowns in the third quarter and another touchdown in the fourth quarter to take full control of the game at 42-0.

The Leopards responded with a 10 play, 78 yard scoring drive that broke up the GlenOak shutout. Junior quarterback Tate Aljancic connected with senior tight end Austin Wade for a 15 yard reception and later found senior wide receiver Tate Golden for a catch that netted 18 more yards to the GlenOak 28. Three plays later, Aljancic found Wade again just inside the right pylon for a 19 yard touchdown pass with 1:38 to play. Aljancic booted through the extra point attempt to cut the deficit to 42-7.

Aljancic would finish 10 of 19 for 77 yards on the evening. Senior starting quarterback Owen Burick would also complete 13 of 27 passes for 93 yards. Golden would be the pairs top target recording 10 grabs for 70 yards. Hershey also made 4 receptions for 33 yards and Wade hauled in 3 catches for 37 yards.
