Girls Tennis Defeats Salem on Senior Night
Louisville 4, Salem 1
The Louisville Leopards Girls Tennis Team downed the visiting Salem Quakers 4-1 on Senior Night Thursday, With the victory, Louisville improves to 11-5 overall and continues their march to another NBC Crown at 7-0 in league play.
Kayla Pukys, Jozie Scott, and Natalie Richards all won their Singles matches by a perfect count of 6-0, 6-0. The Doubles Team of Alexis Pochubay & Alexis Wendt also won a hard-fought #1 Doubles Match 1-6, 7-6 (8-6), 7-5.
The Leopards are now 16-0 all-time against the Quakers and have won 54 straight conference matches.
Prior to the match Louisville honored their three Seniors Jessica Nyland, Jozie Scott, and Francie Zwick. Leopard Nation would like to personally thank these three athletes for helping make the Louisville Tennis program what it is today and wish them the best of luck in their journey beyond high school!
