Girls Golf Shares NBC Title After Finishing 2nd at NBC Tournament
Louisville 368 (2nd Out of 6)
The Louisville Lady Leopards placed 2nd at the NBC Tournament Thursday at Zoar Golf Club with a team score of 368. Their second place finish beat out Regular Season Champion Minerva by four strokes to earn them a share of the 2014 Girls NBC Golf Title. Carrollton won the Tournament with a team total of 364.
Sierra Townsend was the Tournament Medalist as she shot a 78 for the day, which was six strokes better than Minerva’s Logan Pottorf who placed second invidually. Bailey Spring also posted her lifetime low for an 18-hole course by carding a 92. Rounding out the scoring for the Lady Leopards were Summer Walters 96 and Abby Beaver & Gabby Spehar who each shot 102.
At the same match, Louisville competed at the Tri-County Postseason Tournament. The Lady Leopards finished 4th behind Champion Dover 335, second place Canton Central Catholic 353, and third place Carrollton 364.

Stark County Tournament – Louisville 376 (5th Out of 9)
The Louisville Lady Leopards placed 5th out of 9 teams at the Stark County Championship at Sable Creek Saturday. Louisville shot 376 as a team.
Sierra Towsend shot a team low 81 to lead the way for the Leopards. Gabby Spehar also shot her lifetime low with a 94. Bailey Spring also tallied a 99 and Aubrey Leone finished with a 102.
Jackson ran away with the tournament with a team score of 297.
