Louisville Places 2nd Behind Green at Sectional Invite – Girls Golf

The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf Team competed at the Sectional Invite hosted by Jackson High School at The Elms Country Club Thursday. Louisville shot 322 as a team to finish 2nd out of 9 competing teams.
Madison Gruber shot a team low 75 to lead the Lady Leopards and finished fourth individually for the tournament. Erin Strouse shot 79, Alexis Ralston carded an 82, and Katie Bice tallied an 86. Abby Davis also shot 89 to round the varsity participants
The Green Bulldogs won the tournament just three strokes ahead of Louisville with a team score of 319. The host Jackson Polar Bears finished two strokes behind the Lady Leopards in third place with a team total of 324.
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next take on the Dover Tornadoes in their first home dual match of the year on Friday, August 14. Tee-time is set for 1:30 PM from Pleasant View Golf Club.
