The Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer has been voted the #7 seed and will host the #10 Seed Canton South Wildcats in the Division II Canton Sectional Semifinals at Louisville Leopards Stadium on Tuesday, October 15 at 7:00 PM.

Canton South Wildcats Boys Soccer Team
The Canton South Wildcats Boys Soccer team finished the season 5-11 with a 1-5 record in the Eastern Buckeye Conference. Their lone league victory came in a 2-1 win at Carrollton way back on August 27. The Wildcats proved better on the road at 4-6 compared to their 1-5 record when playing at home this season.

Louisville Vs. Canton South Boys Soccer Series
The Leopards and Wildcats did not meet in the regular season for the second straight year after 18 consecutive years of matching up in NBC play. Louisville has won the last 15 matches in the series overall including their last 8 when playing at home. The Leopards lead the all-time series 15-3-1 overall with an 8-1-1 mark when playing at Louisville.
The Leopards won the last meeting at Canton South 7-2 back on October 10, 2017 and shutout the Wildcats 4-0 in their last match in the series at Louisville on October 11, 2016. The Wildcats last win over the Leopards was a 3-2 victory at Canton South on September 30, 2003. South has only won at Louisville one time by the count of 10-4 in their very first meeting back on September 27, 2000.
The Leopards and Wildcats have only met in the postseason one time back in the DII Sectional Semifinals on October 17, 2005. Louisville won that matchup 6-1 before falling in the next round to Ravenna in a shootout 2-1 three days later.
