Louisville demolished visiting Salem 72-9 to clinch a share of their first NBC Title in 21 years. Quintin Scheetz, Carter Mickley, Daniel Kennedy, Zach Thatcher, and Riley Brendle all won by pin to lead the Leopards.
The Louisville Leopards Wrestling Team honored their 2018 Seniors before Thursday’s match agains the Salem Quakers.
Erin Hahn scored all of her game-high 11 points in the first half to lead Louisville past host Minerva 41-21. The Leopards held the Lions to no field goals inside in the arch and produced 3 separate 8 minute droughts from the floor.
Erin Hahn scored 16 points but Louisville fell to Marlington 49-46. Ellie Jackson also scored 8 points, Hanna Lautzenheiser had 7, and Rachel Israel grabbed 9 rebounds.
Sarah Lairson scored a game-high 19 points but Louisville fell to Massillon 50-40. Abby Beaver also scored 11 points for the Leopards.
Sabryna Benzel scored a game-high 10 points to lead Louisville past Canton South 59-23 and clinch their 10th NBC Title in team history.
Sarah Lairson hit two go-ahead free throws with 9.9 seconds left as the Leopards erased a 13-point deficit in downing the Tigers 48-46. Emily Hollifield scored a game-high 22 points to lead Louisville.
Blake Hoover scored a team-high 19 points, Drew Noble poured in 16, and Chris Libertore added 14 but Louisville was still edged by the Highland Hornets 71-67 in the DI Copley Sectional Finals Saturday.
The Leopards fell to the host Quakers 47-38 in the DI Akron Sectional Finals Thursday to finish the season at 13-10. Abby Beaver, Sabryna Benzel, and Sarah Lairson all finished with 9 to lead Louisville.
Sabryna Benzel & Sarah Lairson each scored a team-high 8 points to lead Louisville, but the Lady Leopards still fell to the host Golden Eagles 57-34.
