Louisville defeated Lakota East 14-10 in 10 innings to earn the first girls team State Title in school history! The Leopards rallied from a 7-2 hole, overcame 6 errors in the field, and homered 4 times as they finish the season 27-4.
Teagan Rice and Kaycee Ollis hit back-to-back solo homers in the sixth inning to lift Louisville past Elyria 4-2 in the DI State Semifinals. Sarah Cantley also had an RBI single and struck out 6 pitching the Lady Leopards to their team record 26th win of the year.
Sarah Cantley struck out 10 and Kaycee Ollis had the game winning RBI as Leopards won their first ever Regional Championship with a 2-1 victory over the Comets. Justina Sirohman and Lexi Zavarelle also scored runs for Louisville.
Sarah Cantley threw the 1st Perfect Game in Louisville Softball Tournament History as the Leopards run-ruled the Hilltoppers 13-0 in the DI Akron Regional Semifinals. Kaylee Nolte also went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and 2 RBIs.
The #2 Seed Louisville Leopards fell to the visiting #3 Seed Tallmadge Blue Devils in the DII Louisville District Semifinals. The Leopards finish the season 20-9 following the loss.
Tyler Jackson threw a 4-hit shutout as Leopards shutout the Polar Bears for the first time in team history 3-0. Bryce Zuppe also hit 2 doubles and was driven in by Davis Burick twice as Louisville secured a their third straight 20 win season.
Caleb Prasco hit a walk-off single in the eight inning to lift #2 Seed Louisville past #7 Seed Manchester 3-2 in the DII Louisville Sectional Finals. Cam King and Bryce Zuppe also both had 2 hits to lead the 19-8 Leopards.
Sarah Cantley pitched a 4-hit shutout and Teagan Rice drove in Sydney McKeever for the only run in the Leopards 1-0 District Championship victory over the Lake Blue Streaks. 23-4 Louisville will play in their first ever Regionals next week.
Sarah Cantley hit a game winning homer, pitched a complete game 1-hitter, and struck out 8 to lead the #2 Seed Leopards past the #3 Seed Panthers in the DI Massillon District Semifinals. Kaycee Ollis also hit a 2-run single for 22-4 Louisville.
