Louisville Obliterates Orange on Senior Night 13-4 – Girls Lacrosse

The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team upended the visiting Pepper Pike Orange Lions 13-4 on Senior Night Thursday Evening at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the victory, Louisville finishes the regular season and heads into the playoffs with a record of 7-8.
Shadle Records Hat Trick to Lead Louisville
Senior Chloe Shadle recorded a hat trick as one of three Lady Leopards to have a multi-goal game. Senior Cailor Slack and junior Kalli Spehar also added two goals each for Louisville.
Altogether nine different Lady Leopards scored during the contest. Other goal scorers included senior Morgan “Mouse” Brumfield, sophomore Brynn Evans, junior Tess Golden, junior Brooke Hubbard, junior Olivia Marcantonio, and senior Hallie Schillig.
Louisville showed tremendous chemistry moving the ball as eight of the 13 goals were assisted. Hubbard, Marcantonio, and Slack all finished with a team best two assist each. Spehar and Schillig also tallied one assist a piece.
Sophomore goalkeeper Sarah Bricker also finished with five saves on defense.
Leopards Build 11-0 Lead and Roll to Victory
The Lady Leopards scored the first eleven goals of the game and took an 11-1 lead into the break. Louisville edged Pepper Pike 3-2 in second half scoring to claim a 13-4 senior night victory.
This was the first ever meeting between the two teams.
UP NEXT: The #14 seed Lady Leopards will next travel to take on the #5 seed Chardon Hilltoppers in the second round of the Division II, Region 6 tournament on Wednesday, May 18 at 6:00 PM.
