Leopards Middle School Wrestling placed 1st in five different tournaments including the NBC Tournament. They finished with a record of 16-0 and will be competing at the State Tournament on March 6.
Frankie Falcone, Jimmy Leonard, and Brock Mehl all won by pin to lead the Leopards to a 46-15 victory over the Wildcats. Louisville finishes 5-2 in the NBC.
The Leopards pounded the Quakers 54-19 to secure their first winning NBC Record since 2011-12. Seniors Frankie Falcone & Logan Skolosh were honored.
The Leopards pinned the Quakers 7 times in their 49-24 second round tournament win against the Quakers. However, Louisville fell to the host Arrows 49-12 in the Regional Quarterfinals.
The Leopards drew a first round bye and will face the Quakers Wednesday, January 27 at Ashland High School. Full Bracket and Seedings for DII, Region 12.
Andy Graham, Jimmy Leonard, and Ryan Jakubiak all placed 3rd individually to lead the Leopards to a 9th place finish out of 29 teams at the Josh Hephner Memorial Tournament.
The Leopards rallied for their first victory over West Branch since 2006 with a 31-30 victory on January 14. Louisville fell at home to Carrollton Thursday 39-26.
Dakoda Dehart, Andy Graham, Jager Kendrick, and Satchel Strickmaker all earned pins for Louisville in their 57-15 victory over Marlington in the home opener. The Leopards are now 7-1.
Frankie Falcone, Jager Kendrick, Jimmy Leonard, and Logan Skolosh all had pins to lead the Leopards past the Lions 38-22.
Chase Lautzenheiser, Jimmy Leonard, and Jackson Sampson all won via pin for Louisville, but the Aviators still beat the Leopards 42-27.
