Lady Leopards Tame Lions 3-1 – Girls Soccer
Megan Chatelain, Aubry Fankhauser, and Destini Adoriso all scored goals in Louisville’s 3-1 win over visiting Minerva. The Leopards are now 3-3-1 overall and remain undefeated in the NBC at 3-0.

Sydnee Shankel scored the game-tying goal for the Leopards in the first half, but the Panthers retook the lead and the game 2-1 with a late second half score. Hannah Baughman also had an assist for Louisville.
Hannah Baughman scored the only Leopards goal in the second half via an assist from Tapanga Smith, but the Falcons won 3-1. Kenzie Brown also had 13 saves in goal for 2-2-1 Louisville.
Kayla Gibson scored a pair of goals in the first ten minutes and Louisville rode that lead to the end in a 2-0 shutout of visiting Alliance. Hannah Baughman and Deana Ross had the assists.
Hannah Baughman scored a pair of second half goals to lead the Lady Leopards to a 4-2 road win over the Dukes. Megan Chatelain and Kayla Gibson also scored for Louisville who is now 1-1-1 on the year.
The Leopards Megan Hampe broke the shutout by scoring with 1:44 left in the game, but the Vikings prevailed 6-1. Kayla Gibson tallied the assist on the play as Louisville dropped to 0-1-1 on the year.
Megan Chatelain and Jenny Hamsher both scored first half goals to put the Leopards ahead 2-1 at the break. The Blue Streaks scored in the second half to force a 2-2 opening night stalemate.
Brianna Horton scored 3 goals and had 2 assists to lead the Leopards past the Tygers 11-0. Destini Adoriso, Megan Chatelain, and Kayla Gibson all scored 2 goals each for Louisville as well.

The Leopards finished 1-2 at the Wooster Classic. They dominated the Hubbard Eagles 5-0 to begin the day before falling to the Boardman Spartans 1-0 and the Ontario Warriors 2-0.
