The Louisville Leopards Varsity Softball Team saw a late lead slip away in the seventh inning as the host Division V No. 5-ranked Manchester Panthers rallied for a 6-5 walk-off victory Monday evening at Manchester High School. With the loss, Louisville drops to 11-13 on the season.

Louisville Varsity Leopards fell to Manchester Varsity Panther 6-5 on Monday on the final play of the game. The game was tied at five in the bottom of the seventh when Jordan Allen singled, scoring one run.

Louisville Varsity Leopards got on the board in the top of the first inning after Addy Campbell singled, scoring two runs, and Shae O’Neill doubled, scoring one run.

Louisville Varsity Leopards extended their early lead with two runs in the top of the second thanks to RBI singles by Anna Sirohman and Katelynn Miller.

Manchester Varsity Panther took the lead, 6-5, in the bottom of the seventh thanks to singles by Chloe White, and Allen.

Taylor Schneider opened the game for Louisville Varsity Leopards. The hurler allowed 11 hits and six runs (five earned) over six and one-third innings, striking out five and walking two. Payton Klockenga stepped in the circle first for Manchester Varsity Panther. The starting pitcher surrendered nine hits and five runs over seven innings, striking out three and walking two.

Campbell provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Louisville Varsity Leopards with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Taylor Thompson, Miller, and Sirohman each collected two hits for Louisville Varsity Leopards. Louisville Varsity Leopards turned one double play in the game.

Manchester Varsity Panther collected 11 hits in the game. White provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Manchester Varsity Panther with three runs batted in. The infielder went 3-for-4 on the day. Allen and Bailey Page each collected multiple hits for Manchester Varsity Panther.

Louisville Varsity Leopards play at home on Tuesday against Cardinal Mooney Varsity Cardinals in their next game.

Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards defeated Manchester 10-0 on Monday thanks in part to seven runs in the first inning. a dropped third strike scored one run, Lyla Kandel homered to center field, scoring two runs, an error scored two runs, Addyson Upperman doubled, scoring one run, and an error scored one run.

Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards added one run in the third after Peyton Dillon laid down a sacrifice bunt.

Kylin Thorn earned the win for Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards. The hurler surrendered one hit and zero runs over one inning, striking out two and walking none. Aubree Bell pitched three innings in relief for Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards. The hurler surrendered one hit and zero runs while, striking out four and walking one. Cora Murphy took the loss for Manchester. The hurler went five and one-third innings, surrendering 10 runs (five earned) on eight hits, striking out six and walking four. Kandel started in the circle for Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards. The starter allowed zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out three and walking none.

Hayden Kerr went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards in hits. Bell and Kandel each drove in two runs for Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards.

Sylvia Doney and Olivia Muster each collected one hit for Manchester.
