Louisville Goes Undefeated at Austintown PINK Quad – Volleyball
The Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team competed at the Austintown PINK Quad Saturday at Fitch High School. The Leopards won all 6 sets they played in sweeping their three matches against the host Austintown Fitch Falcons, Boardman Spartans, and Struthers Wildcats. With these victories, Louisville is now 9-5 on the season.
Louisville 25-25, Austintown Fitch 16-20
Louisville opened the day with a 25-16, 25-20 sweep of host Austintown Fitch.
Lauren Siegfried led the Lady Leopards with 10 points serving and 17 assists. Paige Cole also finished with 18 kills to lead Louisville offensively and Sydney Bast led LHS defensively with a team-high 12 digs.
JV: Austintown Fitch defeated Louisville
Louisville 25-25, Boardman 11-22
In their second match of the day, the Leopards defeated Boardman in two sets 25-11, 25-22.
Amanda Clark setup the offense with a team leading 17 assists and Paige Cole also recorded 9 kills. Kaitlyn Baskerville was Louisville’s leading server with 8 points.
Sydney Bast again led the Lady Leopards defensive effort with 10 digs.
JV: Boardman defeated Louisville
Louisville 25-25, Struthers 10-14
Louisville made quick work of Struthers 25-10, 25-14 in their final matchup of the day.
Kaitlyn Baskerville was again the Lady Leopards leading server with 14 service points. Paige Cole also threw down a team leading 14 kills to give her 41 for the day. Amanda Clark also had 12 assists.
For the third straight match, Sydney Bast led the team in digs with 8. She would finish with 30 digs for the quad altogether.
JV: Louisville defeated Struthers
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next host the Manchester Panthers on Monday, September 23. JV is set to begin at 5:00 PM and Varsity will follow around 6:00 PM.
