#5 Top Moment 2012-13: Boys Tennis Perfect 10-0 Run
The Boys Tennis team put together another dominated season in finishing 17-2 overall and a perfect 10-0 in NBC play.
Louisville’s 17 victories were the most the program has had since the 1979 season and the mark is second only to the 1979 team that went 19-3. This year’s squad also had an .895 winning percentage which is second only to that 17-0 1979 team.
The 10 conference wins were also the most an NBC team has ever had and this was the sixth time that the Leopards finished perfect in conference play in their history.
Louisville’s three singles players were dominate all throughout the season. Freshman Jake Pukys finished with a 17-2 record overall and was named NBC Player of the Year, Senior Adam Sullivan ended his season with a 15-1 mark, and Senior Ryan Shepherd finished the season 16-2 and ended his career with a 36-3 record.
Louisville has now won 9 NBC Titles during the 12 seasons that Boys Tennis has been considered an NBC sport.
