Volleyball: Lady Leps Sweep Dukes, Remain 3rd in NBC

Louisville 25-25-25, Marlington 16-15-18

The Lady Leopards Volleyball team defeated the Marlington Dukes in three straight sets 25-16, 25-15, 25-18 at Louisville Middle School Thursday night.

On offense, Brittany Lowry was the top server for the Leps with 10 points and 1 ace, Molly Brown threw down 14 kills, and Maddie Gramoy aided in 31 assists.

Amazingly Gramoy not only led in assists on offense, but also led both teams in digs on defense with 13.  Jordan Monnot also had 2 blocks defensively.

With the win Louisville improves to 10-7 overall and stays third in the NBC with a 6-3 conference record, while Marlington falls to 6-5 overall and 5-5 in the conference.

JV RESULT: Louisville 25-25, Marlington 13-14

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next travel to Canton South to play the Wildcats on Tuesday, October 4.  JV will begin at 5:00 PM with Varsity following at 6:30 PM.
