Louisville Tops Tallmadge in Senior Night Thriller – Volleyball
Louisville 25-22-19-25-15, Tallmadge 22-25-25-15-13
The Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team rallied to defeat the visiting Tallmadge Blue Devils 25-22, 22-25, 19-25, 25-15, 15-13 on Senior Night Thursday at Louisville High School. With their seventh straight victory, Louisville improves to 11-5 on the season.
Paige Cole led the Lady Leopards with a match-high 26 kills. That total is the second most in a match in team history and most ever in a five set match in Louisville Volleyball History. The Junior Outside Hitter now has 271 kills on the season, which is 35 away from the single season LHS record of 306 held by Alyx Crislip during the 2010 season.
Lauren Siegfried was the Leopards leading server with 18 service points and 5 aces. Other Louisville leaders included Amanda Clark with 28 assists and Sydney Bast with 17 digs.
Prior to the match three Lady Leopard Seniors were honored for Senior Night. Those Seniors included Kaitlyn Baskerville, Katelyn Monnot, and Jenna Nye. Leopard Nation would like to thank these Seniors for their hard work and dedication to the Louisville Leopards Volleyball Program and wish them the best of luck in their future beyond high school!
