My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdThe Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Basketball Team defeated the visiting Strongsville Mustangs 53-46 on Senior Night Monday at Louisville High School. With the victory, Louisville improves to 9-6 on the season and finishes the regular season with a home record of 6-2.

Haren Leads Leopards with Game High 20

Lingenhoel Group - Arden and Lisa Lingenhoel - Cutler Real Estate AdJunior Brooke Haren scored 7 of her game high 20 points in the fourth quarter to help lead the Lady Leopards to victory. Haren scored half of her points from the charity stride, canning 10 of 12 free throws for the game.

Two other Louisville players finished in double figures. Freshman Taylor McCully made a pair of second half three-pointers and dropped in 16. Senior Taryn Miglich cashed in on a game best 3 three-pointers and finished with 11 points for the Leopards.


Schulz Leads Mustangs with Team High 18

Jenny Can Cleaning AdSenior point guard Mackenzie Schulz scored 10 of her team high 18 points in the second half to lead Strongsville. Senior shooting guard Paige Coleman also made 3 three-pointers and finished with 11 for the Mustangs.

Louisville led 11-9 at the end of the first quarter and extended their advantaged to 28-23 by halftime. The Leopards edged the Mustangs 12-11 in the third quarter and also 13-12 in the fourth quarter to preserve their lead and eventually the victory.

This was the first known meeting between these two schools in girls basketball.


Louisville Honors 4 for Senior Night

Prior to the varsity game, Louisville honored its 4 senior players: Olivia Mayle, Taryn Miglich, Delaney Orin, and Anna Ramsey. Leopard Nation would like to thank these four seniors for all their hard work and dedication to the Lady Leopards Basketball program.
