Bailee Griffith’s Big Day Propels Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 Past St. Vincent-St. Mary Varsity Fighting Irish

Bailee Griffith drove in four runs on two hits to lead Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 past St. Vincent-St. Mary Varsity Fighting Irish 9-7 on Thursday. Griffith hit a home run to center field in the first inning, scoring two runs, and singled in the second inning, scoring two.
Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 built a 5-run lead in the sixth inning and then held off St. Vincent-St. Mary Varsity Fighting Irish’s charge. St. Vincent-St. Mary Varsity Fighting Irish scored three runs on a home run in the seventh inning.
St. Vincent-St. Mary Varsity Fighting Irish were the first to get on the board in the first when Kate Krabill doubled, scoring one run.
Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 took the lead in the bottom of the first. Griffith homered to center field, scoring two runs, to give Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 the upper hand, 2-1.
Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 extended their early lead with three runs in the bottom of the second thanks to RBI singles by Kaitlin Twinem and Griffith.

Taylor Thompson earned the win for Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025. The starting pitcher surrendered seven hits and four runs over three innings, striking out two and walking one. Cameron Eckroad led things off in the circle for St. Vincent-St. Mary Varsity Fighting Irish. The pitcher gave up seven hits and five runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking one. Katelyn Miller collected the save.
Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 piled up 15 hits in the game. Twinem, Anna Sirohman, and Miller each collected three hits for Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025.
