Attacker Blake Balderson led the Leopards with a game-high 4 goals and 1 assist to record a hat trick in the victory. Balderson opened the scoring for the Leopards early with a pair of goals in the opening quarter to give Louisville a quick 2-0 advantage.
The two teams played to a 3-3 tie at the end of the first quarter, but Balderson broke the deadlock with a goal via an assist from Dillyn Decost. He would later strike again in the fourth quarter off a feed from Parker Daum to give the Leopards a 7-4 cushion and all but seal the win with 10:43 to go.

LaScola also assisted Balderson’s opening goal to ignite the Leopards’ offense early on.
