Pukys & Hall Win Flite 1, Leopards Take 2nd at Doubles Classic

The Louisville Leopards Boys Tennis Team competed in the annual Louisville Doubles Classic at LHS 
Saturday. Louisville placed second out of 6 teams in the tournament only outdone by the Lake Blue Streaks who took first overall.
The Leopard Doubles Team of Jake Pukys & Alex Hall took first place in the top Flite individually. They defeated the pairs from Canton McKinley and Marlington in straight sets during the first two rounds to advance to the Championship match. Pukys & Hall pulled out a 7-6, 2-6, 7-5 victory over Lake’s Dawson Drummond & Cam Shelton to take the title.
The Leopards Doubles Teams of Kyle Shepherd & Kyle Robinson and Zach Eddins & Asa Herron also finished as runner-ups in Flite 2 & Flite 3 respectively. The Blue Streaks squad of Justin Kelley & Mitchell Camcho won Flite 2 by the count of 6-3, 6-1 and the Lake team of Drew Hoover & Anders Vigen finished with a 6-4, 6-1 win in the final match.
