The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team earned their largest win of the season in a 16-5 victory over the visiting Poland Seminary Bulldogs Wednesday Evening at Louisville Leopards Stadium. The win snaps the Lady Leopards four-game losing streak as they improve to 3-7 with the result.
English and Shadle Lead Leopards with 4 Goals Each
Senior Camryn English and junior Chloe Shadle both scored 4 goals each to lead Louisville. Seniors Grace Reiman and Amanda Vesely also finished with a pair of goals each for the Lady Leopards.
Altogether eight different Louisville players scored during the contest. Other Lady Leopard goal scorers included junior Morgan Brumfield, sophomore Kylee Murphy, junior Hallie Schillig, and junior Taylor Sharlow.
Bricker Records 16 Saves in Goal
Freshman goalkeeper Sarah Bricker recorded 16 saves to lead Louisville on defense.
LHS built an 11-1 halftime lead and outscored Poland 5-4 in the second half to roll to their second victory over the Bulldogs this season.
With the victory, Louisville is now 5-0 against Poland Seminary all-time. This includes a 2-0 record in games played against the Bulldogs at Louisville Leopards Stadium.
