Lady Leps Golfers Set 9 Hole Team Record In Win Over Perry – Girls Golf
Louisville 155, Perry 194
The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf Team set a new 9-hole team record low in their 155-194 victory over the visiting Perry Panthers Monday Afternoon at Pleasant View Golf Club. With the victory, Louisville improves to 4-1 on the season.
Alexis Ralston was the match medalist shooting one over par 36. Not far behind in helping set the new team record were Erin Strouse 38, Katie Bice 39, and Madison Gruber 42. Rounding out the varsity participants were Abby Davis who shot a 43 and Lauren L’Amoreaux who finished with 47 ahead of all the Lady Panthers golfers except one.
With the victory, Louisville now leads the all-time series 7-2 over Perry which includes a 4-1 mark against the Panthers at home.
The Lady Leopards 155 score eclipses their previous team 9-hole record low of 161 set in the 2016 season opener against Lake and Minerva. That match was also played at Pleasant View with Sierra Towsend shooting an individual record low 2 under par 34. Louisville defeated Lake 161-176 and Minerva 161-190 in that tri-match opener.
