Pavin Parks went 3-for-4 and scored the only run of the game in the Louisville’s 3-1 loss at Marlington. The JV squad beat the Dukes at home on a seventh inning walk off as Jake Adams pitched a complete game shutout.
Louisville fell to Solon 7-6 and Lake 9-2 on Saturday. The losses mark the first time since April 2010 that they have had a losing streak. Katie Cozy and Jordan Monnot each hit homers on the day.
The Lady Leopards Softball team is holding a canned food drive today (Saturday, May 11) starting at 11 AM at the Varsity Softball Field. Louisville will also host Lake & Solon in a 3-team round robin.
The Louisville Leopards Boys & Girls Track Teams swept the Alliance Aviators Tuesday in a home meet. The Boys were victorious by a count of 108-20 and the Girls downed their foes 99-29.
Riley Groves pitched a complete game 3-hit shutout and struck out 5 to lead Louisville to a 3-0 road victory at Carrollton. With the victory the Leopards have won 8 of their last 10 games and for the first time all season pull above .500.
Annie Woolf homered twice in the contest and Grace Jackson delivered a walk-off RBI single to lead Louisville to a nail-biting 10-9 victory over West Branch. The Warriors had led 7-0 early on.
With a 42.9% voter turnout, the emergency levy received passage 3,461 (62%) to 2,119 (38%). The school district will receive $5.9 million over the next 5 years.

The Leopards drew the fifth seed in the DII Canton District Baseball Tournament draw Sunday and will travel to Triway to face the Titans in the Sectional Final on Tuesday, May 14.
