The Louisville Leopards Freshman Football team defeated the visiting Aurora Greenmen 32-21 Thursday at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the victory, Louisville is now 6-1 on the season.

After spotting Aurora the opening touchdown, the Leopards responded with a 52 yard touchdown drive. Beatty's Sports Leopard Skin Grey HoodieGavin Birone setup the drive by returning the ball near midfield. Tyler Adams ran for a first down on the first play and then caught a 22 yard reception a few plays later. Quarterback Brody Hahn then found Birone in the endzone for a 20 yard score. Cole Weston caught Hahn’s conversion pass to put Louisville up 8-7.

Later on, the Greenmen muffed a punt and Weston fell on it for the Leopards on their own 44 yard line. Two plays later Hahn hit Adams for a 24 yard touchdown pass. The play before Hahn found Adams for a 32 yard gain. Casey Nau ran in the two-point conversion to make it 16-7 Louisville.

The Leopards went on to win 32-21, but Leopard Nation’s coverage ended with 7:49 left in the second quarter to cover Senior Night for Volleyball.
