Leah Claugus hit a school record 3 home runs and Bailee Griffith added another as the #9 Lady Leopards blanked the visiting #21 Indians 7-0 in the DIII Northeast 4 District Semifinals. Katelynn Miller also threw a 5-hit shutout and struck out 10 as Louisville improved to 14-14-1.
Bailee Griffith and Addy Campbell hit back-to-back homers and had multi-hit games but the Lady Leopards fell to the host Quakers 10-5. Leah Claugus and Taylor Thompson also had two hits each as Louisville dropped to 13-14-1.
The Louisville Boys won 3 relay races to finish second and the Girls also won 2 relay races to take third place at the Jason Manse Central Crusader Relays. Taryn Gotschall placed first in the 100 meter hurdles and Owen DiMarzio took 3rd in the 100 meter dash to lead the Leopards individually.
Tate Aljancic Luke Seaman, and Cody Zahler all had multi-hit games as the Leopards dismantled the host Quakers 12-4. Grayson Brunoni also had an RBI double as Louisville improved to 11-13.
Katelynn Miller threw a no-hitter and Addy Campbell hit her record-breaking 13th home run of the season as the #9 Louisville scored a team record runs in their 33-0 sectional final win over #41 Bedford. Anna Sirohman also went 4-for-4 and scored 6 runs as LHS advanced to districts again.
Jake Beard went 2-for-3 with a double and 3 RBIs to lead Louisville to a 12-1 four inning win at Marlington. Zander Triplett and Cody Zahler also both went 2-3 as the Leopards improved to 10-13.
Adler LaScola scored a pair of goals and added an assist to lead #17 Louisville in their 5-4 overtime loss to host #15 St. Vincent-St. Mary in the opening round of the DII, Region 6 playoffs. Blake Balderson and Seth Colley also scored goals as the Leopards finished 4-11.
Max Roberts hit an RBI single to give the Leopards an early lead, but Louisville fell at Dover 2-1. Caleb Mayle also struck out 6 on the mound as LHS dropped to 8-13.
