The #17 seed Leopards upset the host #16 Golden Eagles 25-18, 22-25, 26-24, 17-25, 15-12 to win their first sectional title since 2016. Lauren Siegfried finished with 35 assists, Sydney Bast tallied 31 digs, and Paige Cole threw down 29 kills as LHS won their 9th straight.
Riley Adams scored a pair of goals and Joe Reynolds set a team record with his 8th shutout of the season as the Leopards blanked the Dukes 4-0 in the DII Northeast 2 Sectional Finals. Mason Foley and Kael Mickley also scored goals as LHS improved to 12-4-2.
Dan Kennedy finished with 165 total yards of offense and rushed for 2 touchdowns to lead the Leopards in their 21-19 home loss to the Aviators. Tyler Jackson also threw a 29 yard touchdown pass to Zack Seaman as LHS dropped to 2-6.
Amelia Henderhan finished with a team tournament record 25 saves, but the #17 seed Lady Leopards fell on the road to the top seeded Polar Bears 4-0 in the DI Northeast 2 Sectional Finals. Louisville finishes the season 10-7-1.
Page Cole finished with 18 digs, 15 kills, and 16 points serving to lead #17 seed Louisville in their 25-19, 25-15, 25-21 DI Northeast 2 Sectional Semifinal victory over #28 seed Kent Roosevelt. Lauren Siegfried also had 15 assists and 9 kills as the Leopards won their 8th straight.
Mason Foley recorded a hat trick as the #9 seed Leopards shutout the #26 seed Wildcats 8-0 in the DII Northeast 2 Sectional Semifinals. Joe Reynolds also tied the team record for shutouts in goal with his 7th of the year as LHS improved to 11-4-2.
Matti Benson scored a pair of second half goals including the deciding score with about 6 minutes to go in the Lady Leopards 2-1 DI Northeast 2 Sectional Semifinal victory over the Black Tigers. Amelia Henderhan also had 17 saves in goal for now 10-6-1 LHS.
Rachel Kibler became Louisville’s 1st district qualifier since 2016 after winning her first 3 sectional matches. Sherilynn Mullett fell one victory shy of advancing to districts.
Kael Mickley scored a pair of goals to lead Louisville in their 5-0 shutout against visiting Ravenna in their regular season finale. Brady Adams, Mason Foley, & Maddox Drake-McKimm also added scores as LHS improved to 10-4-2.
Paige Cole finished with 18 kills and 16 digs as the Lady Leopards defeated the Falcons 25-19, 17-25, 25-20, 25-22 to finish the season 13-8. Sydney Bast also had 17 digs, Kendal Loy 13 points serving, and Lauren Siegfried 21 assists for LHS.
