Criss Places 7th to Lead Louisville at State Meet – Wrestling
Aric Criss picked up multiple wins in consolation en route to finishing 7th in 138 for Louisville. Kaiden Barker also notched a consolation victory in 132 for the Leopards.

Kaiden Barker, Aric Criss, Beau Nezbeth, and Wyatt Smith all finished fourth at the DI Hoover District Tournament and qualified for the state meet. Colton Rhoads also took fifth as the Leopards finished fifth as a team.
Kaiden Barker, Micah Bricker, and Jakeb Beard all finished as sectional champions as 10 Louisville wrestlers punched their ticket to districts. The Leopards finished second as a team in the DI Euclid Sectional Tournament.
Xavier Pollard and Colton Rhoads both recorded first period pins to lead the Leopards past the visiting Falcons 44-27. Jakeb Beard and Beau Nezbeth also won by fall as Louisville finished with a perfect 7-0 dual match record.
Abel Bolyard, Aric Criss, Mikhail Montgomery, and Colton Rhoads all earned first period pins as the Leopards beat host Boardman 77-6. Kaiden Barker, Zander McCrobie Xavier Pollard, Wyatt Smith also won by fall as Louisville improved to 6-0 in dual matches.
Aric Criss and Colton Rhoads both placed 4th to lead the Leopards who finished 5th as a team at the Medina Invitational. Abel Bolyard also took 5th, Kaiden Barker 6th, and Wyatt Smith 7th for LHS.
The Leopards defeated the guest Cardinals 61-14 and visiting Aviators 73-6 in their home opener. Abel Bolyard, Wyatt Skolosh, Jakeb Beard, and Zander McCrobie both posted a pair of pins to lead Louisville to a 2-0 start.
Aric Criss placed 2nd in 144 to lead the Leopards who finished 9th as a team at the Solon Comet Classic. Paxton Laughlin and Xavier Pollard also placed 4th in their weight classes.
Owen DiMarzio ran for 104 yards and a touchdown to lead the Leopards in their 7-6 win over the visiting Crusaders. Cooper Rice was named player of the game, Jacob Paumier made an interception at the goal line, and Gabe Stoffer also recovered a fumble as LHS improved to 3-3.
Owen DiMarzio ran for 102 yards and 2 touchdowns to lead Louisville past visiting Marlington 38-13. Cam Dougherty also ran for a pair of touchdowns and Owen Wilson also scored on the ground as the Leopards improved to 2-2.
