The Leopards shutout the Dukes to improve to 8-0 in the conference and clinch their 6th straight NBC Title. Jozie Scott & Natalie Richards both won a perfect 6-0, 6-0 to lead Louisville.
Sierra Townsend shot a match-low 43 to lead Louisville past host Marlington 201-219 and also Fairless 201-241. Louisville is now 15-2 overall and 10-0 in the NBC.
Noah Chaplik placed 5th and Nick Chaplik finished 6th to lead the Leopards to their third meet win of the year.
The Lady Leopards placed 30th out of 36 teams at the Boardman Spartan Invitational. Ashlee Beaver was the top runner for Louisville placing 127th out 321 runners.
Alexis Pochubay & Kayla Pukys won Flight #1 as the Leopards finished second at the LHS Doubles Classic. Canton South won the classic.
Louisville defeated Chippewa in the opening round, but lost two hard fought matches against Solon and Highland after that. The 12-0 start was the best for LHS since 2000.
Louisville broke a 192-192 tie by defeating Minerva on a 5th Card Tie-Breaker in improving to 9-0 in the NBC. Seniors Gabby Spehar & Bailey Spring were honored after the match.
Leopards Seniors Jessica Nyland, Jozie Scott, and Francie Zwick were honored before the Leopards defeated the Quakers 4-1. All Singles Players won their matches a perfect 6-0, 6-0.
Grace Jackson had 14 digs & 14 points serving and Georgia Kiko had 9 kills & 1 block as Louisville swept Canton South 25-17, 25-6, 25-8 .
