Girls Golf Clinches Share of NBC Regular Season Title
Louisville 201, Marlington 219, Fairless 241
The Louisville Lady Leopards Girls Golf Team defeated the host Marlington Dukes 201-219 and also the Fairless Falcons 201-241 in a tri-match Monday at Tannehauf Golf Course. With the victories, Louisville is now 15-2 overall and clinches a share of the NBC Regular Season crown with a mark of 10-0 in league play.
Sierra Townsend shot a match-low 43 to lead the Leopards. Rounding out the scoring for Louisville were Abby Beaver 49, Bailey Spring 51, and Alexis Beaver 58.
The Dukes (6-8, 5-6) were led by Hannah Canale who shot a team-low 50 and the Falcons were led by Lauren Dickey who shot a team-low 51. Louisville has now defeated Marlington 8 straight times and leads the all-time series 9-1. Louisville is also 3-0 against Fairless all-time.
The Leopards have now clinched at least a share of the NBC Regular Season Title in 3 of the last 5 seasons.
