Leopards Cole and Kiko Compete at State Meet – Cross Country
Morgan Cole placed 56th and Cassidy Kiko took 69th in the Division I Race at the OHSAA State Cross Country Meet at National Trail Raceway Saturday in Hebron, Ohio.

Morgan Cole and Cassidy Kiko finished in the top 3 to lead the Louisville Girls to a 3rd Place finish at the DI Canton District Meet at GlenOak. Miklos Hendricks qualified for Regionals and led the Boys to an 8th place finish.

Ellie Jackson finished with 11 digs and Morgan Cole had 12 assists, but Louisville fell to top seeded Jackson 25-15, 25-11, 25-9. Paige Cole and Cami Nau also had 5 kills each for the Lady Leopards.
Cami Nau led Louisville with 18 kills and 15 points & 5 aces serving as the Leopards downed the Tigers 22-25, 25-13, 29-27, 16-25, 16-14 in the DI Uniontown Sectional Semifinals. Morgan Cole had 30 assists, Ellie Jackson 12 digs, and Emily Fresenko 3 blocks for LHS.
Kayla Gibson scored the game-tying goal in the 50th minute of the contest, but the Spartans downed the Leopards on a late second half goal to win the DI Austintown Sectional Semifinal 2-1. Hannah Baughman recorded the assist for Louisville.
Morgan Cole placed 1st individually to lead the Girls to their second straight NBC Title. Miklos Hendricks placed 2nd individually to lead the Boys to a second place finish at the NBC Meet held at Copeland Oaks.
Senior Ellie Jackson finished with a team-high 18 digs as Louisville rallied to win 19-25, 25-16, 28-26, 25-22 over West Branch in the regular season finale. Cami Nau also had a team-leading 16 kills for the Leopards.
Hannah Baughman recorded a hat trick as Louisville blanked visiting Canton South 6-0 on Senior Night. Megan Chatelain, Aubry Fankhauser, and Kayla Gibson also scored goals for the Leopards who finish 5-2 in the NBC.
The Leopards swept the Lions 25-18, 25-14, 25-10 in their Block Out Cancer match at Minerva Thursday. Emily Phillips had 11 points serving, Morgan Cole finished with 26 assists, and Ellie Jackson had 18 digs on defense.
