The Leopards Tennis team defeated St. Thomas Aquinas 5-0 Wednesday to improve to 5-1 on the season.
Jake Pukys & Vic Knebl each won their singles matches 6-0, 6-0, Kyle Shepherd won his first singles match of the year, and the #1 Doubles Team of Alex Hall & Hunter Williams continued their dominance for 4-1 Louisville.
Alex Hall & Hunter Williams earned victory in #1 Doubles to break the tie and give the Leopards a 3-2 win over the Black Tigers. Jake Pukys & Vic Knebl also won their singles matches,
Jake Pukys & Vic Knebl each won singles matches, while the doubles teams of Alex Hall & Hunters and Andy Hall & Kyle Robinson also earned victories. The Leopards defeated the Tornadoes 4-1.
Jake Pukys, Nick Knebl, and Vic Kenbl all won their Singles Matches in straight sets. Alex Hall & Hunter Williams also won #1 Doubles in straight sets. Louisville has now defeated Alliance 14 straight times.
Jake Pukys earned the only Leopards victory in #1 Singles winning 6-4, 6-2. The Vikings took the match 4-1.
The Louisville Leopards shot 341 as a team which was good enough for third place overall. Mac Hanson led the way by shooting an 81. Marlington & Carrollton shared the league crown.
A fifth-man tie breaker helped the Leopards prevail over the the Warriors after the two squads played to a 168-168 tie. Louisville is now 8-5, 8-4 and just one game back of Carrolton in the NBC.
Louisville defeated West Branch 175-182, Salem 179-181, and Canton South 171-184 to improve to 4-2 overall on the season. Matt Eddins and Dom Lacerenza combined to hold the top Leopard scores.
