Lady Leopards Edge Wildcats to Claim a Share of NBC
Louisville edged Canton South 3-2 Thursday to clinch a share of their fourth straight NBC Title. Gretchen Groves, Alexis Isla, and Sarah Robbins all won their singles matches to lead the Leps.

Gretchen Groves, Alexis Isla, and Sarah Robbins are a perfect 9-0 as Singles Players this season. Louisville has now won their last 31 NBC Matches Overall which includes a 105 Set winning streak.
Gretchen Groves, Alexis Isla, and Sarah Robbins were all crowned singles champions Saturday & won their matches against the Jackson B squad Wednesday. Kayla Pukys & Jozie Scott were also crowned Doubles Champions at Orrville.
The Lady Leopards opened the season on Wednesday and defeated host GlenOak 4-1. On Friday they downed Green in the home opener 4-1. Louisville is now 53-3 in their last 56 dual matches.
The Lady Leopards Tennis shutout all 8 of their NBC opponents and did not lose a single set during that run. Gretchen Groves was named NBC Player of the Year and Rod Hall was named Coach of the Year.
Boys Cross Country, Girls Cross Country, Girls Soccer, Girls Tennis, and Volleyball all won NBC Titles this Fall. Louisville also had 4 NBC Player of the Year & 5 NBC Coach of the Year Winners.
Louisville outscored NBC opponents this season 40-0 and also did not lose a single set during their run. The Lady Leps have now won 27 consecutive NBC matches.
Lady Leopards Tennis has not lost a single set in NBC play this season and has won their last 26 NBC dual matches. Louisville is now 12-1, 7-0 on the season.
Singles winners included Gretchen Groves, Alexis Isla, & Sam Pukys, while the doubles teams of Hannah Lemmon & Ciara Antonacci and Sarah Robbins & Lindsay Brindack also won. Louisville is now 11-1.
Louisville won their 25th consecutive NBC Girls Tennis match to improve to 10-1, 6-0 on the season. The Leopards won all their matches in straight sets marking 7 straight NBC shutout wins.
