Louisville swept visiting Canton South 25-13, 25-10, 25-5 to clinch a share of their 7th NBC Title. The Leopards honored their 3 Seniors Amanda Begue, Emily Hollifield, & Grace Jackson before the match.
Emily Hollifield led the Leopards with 17 Kills & 5 Blocks as Louisville downed Minerva 25-4, 25-13, 22-25, 25-22 in the Volley for the Cure Match Thursday.
The Leopards fell to the Dukes 22-25, 25-17, 25-23, 23-25, 12-15 to fall to 10-1 in the NBC. Brynn Guist finished with 16 kills and Paige Haren had 50 assists to lead Louisville.
The Leopards pulled 2 games ahead of the Quakers for the top spot in the NBC with a 25-16, 25-17, 25-12 sweep of host Salem. Georgia Kiko finished with 12 points, 4 aces, and 9 kills for the Leps.
Louisville defeated Chippewa in the opening round, but lost two hard fought matches against Solon and Highland after that. The 12-0 start was the best for LHS since 2000.
Grace Jackson led Louisville with a game-high 21 digs & 13 points serving as the Lady Leopards defeated the Lions 25-12, 25-18, 21-25, 25-13.
The Lady Leopards took control of first place in the NBC with a 25-11, 23-25, 20-25, 25-17, 25-9 win over the host Dukes Thursday.
Head Coach Jodie Cress tied Penny DeShields for the Louisville Volleyball all-time wins leader after a 25-12, 25-22, 25-15 sweep of Alliance. Emily Hollifield had 11 kills & 14 digs to lead the Leopards.
Emily Hollifield finished with 17 kills, 3 blocks, and 20 digs to lead the Lady Leopards to a sweep of the Warriors 25-22, 25-23, 25-18. Louisville remains an undefeated 4-0.
