Volleyball Claws Lions in Volley for the Cure Match
Louisville 25-25-22-25, Minerva 4-13-25-22
The Louisville Lady Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team downed the host Minerva Lions 25-4, 25-13, 22-25, 25-22 in the Volley for the Cure match at MHS Thursday. With the victory, Louisville improves to 17-3 overall and 11-1 in the NBC.
Emily Hollifield led the Leopards with team-highs of 17 kills and 5 blocks. Georgia Kiko also matched Hollifield with 17 kills, Paige Haren finished with 48 assists, Grace Jackson tallied 13 digs, and Savannah Miner was the team’s top server with 23 points & 3 aces.
Louisville has now defeated Minerva in 7 out of their last 8 matches against each other.
JV: Louisville 25-25, Minerva 11-9
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next host the Canton South Wildcats on Tuesday, October 13 for Senior Night! JV will begin at 5:00 PM and Varsity will follow around 6:00 PM.
