The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Basketball Team defeated the visiting Massillon Tigers 65-44 Thursday Night at Louisville High School. With their sixth straight win, Louisville improves to 6-1 on the season.

Haren Scores Game High 17 to Lead Louisville
Sophomore Brooke Haren poured in a game high 17 points to lead the Lady Leopards. Freshman Courtney Barwick also dropped in 12 and junior Taryn Miglich hit double figures with 10 for Louisville.
The Leopards never trailed during the contest despite a lot of back-and-forth between the two teams at the start of the game. Louisville took command of the contest with a 10-0 run in the final minutes of the first quarter and led 20-9 heading into the second period.
The Leopards had the Tigers doubled up 28-14 by halftime following a low scoring second quarter. Louisville also outscored Massillon 16-13 in the third quarter and 21-17 in the fourth quarter en rout to their 21-point victory.
Hardesty Leads Massillon with Team High 8
Junior small forward Kylee Hardesty hit a pair of three-pointers and scored a team high 8 points to lead the Lady Tigers. Sophomore shooting guard Makiya Edwards and senior power forward Kyden Williams also tallied 7 each for Massillon.
With the victory, the Lady Leopards have now won four straight against the Lady Tigers dating back to 2018. Louisville is now 17-10 against Massillon all-time, which includes an 9-3 record when playing at LHS.
