Louisville Splits Tri-Match With Marlington & Central Catholic – Girls Golf
Marlington 172, Louisville 194, Central Catholic 206
The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf Team hosted the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders and Marlington Dukes for a tri-match Tuesday at Pleasant View Golf Club. Louisville defeated Canton Central Catholic 194-206, but fell to Marlington 172-194. The Lady Leopards now stand at 7-6 with the split.
Biery Tallies Team Low 43 to Lead Leopards
Junior Peyton Biery shot a team low 43 to lead Louisville. Senior Kylie Wallace, playing in the fourth slot, beat her counterpart from Central Catholic 49-68 which proved to be the deciding factor in the Leopards final margin of victory.
Rounding out the scoring for Louisville were junior Anna Myers and freshman Natalie Warner who finished with 51 each. Sophomore Isabelle Tack also shot 55 as part of the Leopards varsity squad.
Louisville Vs. Marlington Girls Golf History
The Lady Leopards still lead the all-time series over the Lady Dukes 10-8 which includes a 6-2 record when playing on their home course in the series.
Louisville Vs. Central Girls Golf History
The Lady Leopards hold a 15-3 edge over the Lady Crusaders all-time, which includes a 7-1 record when playing at home in the series.
