Lady Leopards Fall in 3 Close Sets Vs. Dukes – Volleyball

The Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team fell in three close sets to the visiting Marlington Dukes 23-25, 20-25, 23-25. With the loss, Louisville drops to an even 6-6 on the year.
Seniors Paige Cole and Lauren Siegfried led the Lady Leopards offense. Cole finished with a team-high 20 kills and Siegfried recorded a team leading 20 assists. Junior Bridget DeJacimo was Louisville’s top service with 11 service points.
Defensive leaders for the Lady Leopards included senior Sydney Bast with 16 digs and sophomore Lexi Jobe with 5 blocks.
Louisville has now lost 7 straight matches to Marlington dating back to 2017, which includes three straight losses to the Dukes at home.
