1st Meeting with Kent Roosevelt Since 1952

This is the first time that Louisville and Kent Roosevelt have met on the hardwood since January 19, 1952. The Leopards won that game 82-53 and have now taken the last 4 games in the series overall. The 72 season gap is unconfirmed, but more than likely a record for any Louisville regular season opponent. Louisville recently played Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary in the 2022 tournament after not playing them since the 1934 tournament, an 88 year gap.

The Leopards now lead the known all-time series 4-3 overall dating back to the 1936 season. That was the only season in which Louisville and Kent Roosevelt played twice.

UP NEXT:The Leopards will next travel to take on the Alliance Aviators on Tuesday, December 12. JV will begin at 5:30 PM and Varsity will follow around 7:00 PM from Harry Fails Gymnasium.
