Lady Leopards Complete Perfect Regular Season at Poland – Girls Lacrosse
Louisville 20, Poland Seminary 3
The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team completed a perfect regular season by pounding Poland Seminary 20-3 Tuesday Evening. With the road win, Louisville is now 12-0 on the year heading into tournament play.
Alexa Oberster tied her own team record by scoring 9 goals to lead the Lady Leopards. She also scored 9 goals in an 18-4 win over St. Vincent-St. Mary on April 13. In addition, Oberster finished with game-high 5 assists and tied Haley Black for the team lead in ground balls with 6.

Marissa Vick also dropped home 4 goals and tallied 2 assists for Louisville. Maddie Bates, Megan Vesely, and Mandy Wesely all scored a pair of goals each. Black also found the net and assisted her teammates on 2 other Leopards scores.
Goalie Celia Keefe finished with 16 saves in goal. Louisville totaled 30 ground balls for the game with Wesely also recording 5.
The Leopards are now 2-0 against the Bulldogs all-time with this being their first meeting at Poland. Louisville has outscored them 39-4 in those meetings which included a 19-1 Senior Night home win last year.
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next travel to Kent Roosevelt to take on the Rough Riders in the Division II, Region 6 Tournament Qualifying Round on Wednesday, May 17 at 6:00 PM.
