The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Basketball Team fell to the host Northwest Indians 52-34 Wednesday Night at Northwest High School. With the loss, Louisville drops to 2-5 on the season.
Sherilynn Mullett hit home 3 three-pointers and scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Lady Leopards. Paige Cole also hit a pair of three-pointers in the first quarter and finished with 6.
Northwest Doesn’t Look Back After Early Run
Aided by a 7-0 run, the Lady Indians took a 12-8 lead by the end of the first quarter and never looked back. Northwest began the second quarter on an 8-2 run to take a double digit advantage. By halftime they doubled up Louisville 28-14.
Northwest would go on to outscore the Leopards 10-9 in the third and 14-11 in the fourth quarter on their way to victory.

Marecek Leads Indians With Game-High 18
The Lady Indians were led by Jordan Marecek who cashed in on 3 three-pointers and scored a game-high 18 points. Other Northwest players in double figures included Ashley Cudnik with 13 and Lily Bottomley with 10.
The Lady Indians have now defeated the Lady Leopards in each of their past three meetings. Louisville still leads the all-time series 27-21, which includes a 13-11 record in games played at Northwest.
