The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Basketball Team notched a convincing 82-60 victory over the host Northwest Indians Friday Night at the Northwest High School Field House. Louisville has now won 5 of their last 6 games overall and improves to 16-4 on the season with the victory.

Aljancic Leads Louisville With Game High 20

My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdSenior wing Will Aljancic scored 15 of his game high 20 points in the first half to lead the Leopards. He scored 8 in the opening quarter as Louisville took a commanding 21-8 advantage into the second quarter. Aljancic then tacked on 7 more points in the second quarter as the Leopards increased their lead to 46-30 by halftime.

Aljancic added 5 more points in the second half. Louisville would outscore Northwest 22-14 in the third quarter to up the margin to 68-44. It was all academic in the final stanza as the Indians outscored the Leopards 16-14 and LHS cruised to a 22-point victory.


All 5 Leopard Starters Reach Double Figures

Lingenhoel Group - Arden and Lisa Lingenhoel - Cutler Real Estate AdAll 5 Louisville starters reached double figures en rout to victory. Sophomore point guard Beau Siegfried made 4 of the Leopards 7 three-pointers and finished with 16. Fellow sophomore forward Ashton Marshall scored in every quarter on his way to tallying 15 points.

Junior guard Hayden Nigro scored 13 and sophomore forward Brayden Gross added 10 to round out the double digit scorers for Louisville. Senior point guard Charlie Roberts also scored 5 and senior guard Caden Wymer registered 3.


Badger Leads Northwest with Team High 14

Jenny Can Cleaning AdSophomore point guard Chase Badger made 3 three-pointers and scored a team high 14 points to lead Northwest. Senior power forward Isaac LaFay and junior power forward Ian Ziegler also reached double figures in scoring 10 each for the Indians.
