Frank Steen scored the game-tying touchdown and Chris Koy added the game-winning extra point with 49 seconds remaining as Northwest stunned visiting Louisville 14-13 back on October 6, 2006.
The Leopards owned the first half and took a 13-0 lead into halftime. Quarterback Ben Schmucker scored on a 3 yard touchdown run in the first quarter and later found Kyle Falk for a 6 yard touchdown strike in the second quarter.
The Indians rallied back in the third quarter when Jim Shiplett found Teddy Robb across the middle for a 68 yard touchdown pass to cut the deficit to 13-7. Shiplett would finish the evening 14 of 23 for 171 yards and Robb would finish with 7 catches for 125 yards.
Northwest marched 99 yards on their game winning drive. David Ayers led their rushing attack with 16 carries for 92 yards.
Louisville rushed the ball 50 times for 149 yards. Their ground attack was led by Marcus Poyser who finished with 12 carries for 68 yards.
