Louisville Evens Record With 4-1 Win at Lake – Girls Tennis

The Louisville Leopards Girls Tennis Team defeated the host Lake Blue Streaks 4-1 Wednesday at Lake High School. With the victory, Louisville evens their record on the season at 7-7.
The Leopards swept singles play and split their two doubles matchups. Rachel Kibler set the tone in #1 singles with a perfect 6-0, 6-0 victory over Emma Deluca. Sherilynn Mullett was also dominate in #2 singles winning in straight sets 6-2, 6-0 against Grace Milhoan. Finally, Jade Thomas won a hard fought #3 singles match by the count of 6-2, 0-6, 7-6 (8-6) over the Blue Streaks’ Ally Lavy.
Ashley Dadisman & Kora Woolfe made up the victorious Louisville #2 doubles team. They defeated Lake’s duo of Kyah Krause & Kylie Conner in straight sets 6-2, 6-4.
The Blue Streaks loan point came in #1 doubles via the team of Savannah Miller & Emma Moorhead. They downed the Leopards tandem of Katie Yarnall & Bailey Menegay 6-0, 6-4.
Louisville has now won their past 14 matches over Lake dating back to 2009. The Lady Leopards now lead the all-time series over the Lady Streaks 33-4 overall.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next hit the road to take on the Nordonia Knights on Tuesday, September 15 at 4:30 PM. The Louisville Doubles Classic originally scheduled for Saturday, September 12 has been cancelled.
