Louisville Falls Late at New Philadelphia 4-2 – Boys Soccer

The Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer Team was doubled up by the host New Philadelphia Quakers Monday Evening. With the loss, Louisville drops to 1-5 on the year.
The Leopards answered each of the Quakers two goals to tie the game at 2-2 in the second half. Junior Riley Adams scored Louisville’s first half goal to knot the game at 1-1 by halftime. Sophomore Kael Mickley added the Leopards second goal to tie the game up in the second half. Junior Maddox Drake-McKimm recorded assists on both scores.
New Philadelphia scored a pair of goals in the final seven minutes to take the contest 4-2. Colin Roberts led the Quakers with two goals. Elliott Warner and Ian Harr added the other scores for NPHS.
Louisville Goalie Joe Reynolds finished with 11 saves on defense. New Philadelphia was led in goal by Ben Barker who had 5 saves.
This was the first ever meeting between the two schools in boys soccer.
