Louisville Boys Win, Girls Fall Just Short at New Philadelphia – Bowling

Louisville Leopards Boys Bowling 2020 Baker Game Record

Samantha's Grill AdThe Louisville Leopards Bowling Teams travelled south to take on the host New Philadelphia Quakers at Boulevard Lanes Wednesday Evening. The Louisville Boys defeated New Philadelphia 2796-2250 to improve to 15-3 on the year. The Lady Leopards dropped to 4-12 on the year after being downed by just 15 pins in their match against the Lady Quakers 1867-1852 

Both Louisville JV teams also won their matches. The boys defeated New Philadelphia 2241-1998 to up their mark to 10-3 on the year. The girls also defeated the Quakers 1517-924 to improve to 4-5 on the season.


Boys: Louisville 2796, New Philadelphia 2250

Jenny Can Cleaning AdBoys Varsity Bowling beat New Philadelphia 2796 – 2250. Leading the Leopards was Matt Darlison with games of 243 and 247! Chase Barstow followed with games of 255 and 225. Jon Mong rolled games of 206 and 202. Nick Phillips had games of 213 and 189. Tom Warner rolled a 182 and Angelo Dyer threw a 170. The Varsity Boys rolled baker games of 238, 213, and 213.

The Leopards last match will be this Saturday at 10:30am at Eastbury Lanes. Then the Varsity Boys Team will travel down to Columbus to compete at the State Tournament.

JV Boys: Louisville 2241, New Philadelphia 1998

The JV Boys team beat New Philadelphia 2241-1998. Leading the Leopards was Dave Kerry with games of 188 and 190. Captain Brett Holleran rolled his record best with a 178 game!

Marissa Hilson followed with games of 149 and 174. Madison Denzer rolled games of 136 and 149. Meara Young shot games of 144 and 122. Alysa Thornhill rolled a 130 and Rebecca Leyman shot a 118.

The Lady Leopards fell short with baker games of 139, 118, and 112.

The Varsity Girls will travel to Park Centre on Friday to take on Hoover and Jackson.
